VIRID is a percussion and multimedia duo formed by Ancel Fitzgerald Neeley and Olivia Cirisan.

Somewhat amorphous, VIRID exists somewhere between experimental, contemporary classical and popular music genres. The duo is committed to experimentation within the contemporary world, particularly focused on collaborating with living composer-performers and incorporating electroacoustic and improvisational elements into their unique sound world as contemporary performers. Taking an approach that blends composition, songwriting, and music production, the original music of VIRID combines a mixture of pop, electronic, instrumental, and contemporary classical genres into their sound. VIRID is based out of Southeast Michigan and frequently plays with bassist Will Kelley and woodwind-doubler Oliver Bishop.
